Went there for dinner in july 2023. Food was OK, at best. Nothing special to be honest. But the service was horrible. Not sure if one of the waiters was drunk, joking, or for some other reason not capable of doing his job. The highlight was when he dropped a large plate drop on my back and didn't even appologize. We left without dessert after having ordered it twice and waited 30 minutes for it not to come.
Charming and nostalgic hotel with a touch of modern design. Loved to stay there for two nights to discover Ischl. My highlight was the little winter garden where you can have drinks in your bathrobe ;)
Soup was not hot, only warm.
Zwiebel Rostbraten was poor. Beef tough, and an unacceptable amount was fat.
Not up to Bad Ischl standards and the price of the meal was excessive.
Don't expect high quality based on the high menu prices at this establishment.
Awesome place!! When I go to Badishel every time I have to stay in this place. Very friendly staff and treat you with love. I enjoy their clean and spacious rooms. They take care of the details. The breakfast there is so special with a variety of food. The staff who serve the breakfast are amazing, and they do their best to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your meal. I love the rooms with the river view especially in the morning with a cup of coffee for coffee lovers. The city also is so beautiful and the hotel is settled in a good place where you can reach any place you need. Don't hesitate to stay in here and enjoy your coffee and breakfast morning. Oh, one more thing the check-in and out is fast and easy.

Outstanding restaurant! We had a dinner on Friday night. Delicious food, great presentation, friendly staff. Menu with a wide range of dishes, available in English. Traditional restaurant though with the best style Austria can offer. We were surprised with reasonable prices and set menus, unlike in Vienna and some other near by towns. Must visit! Well done to the team.
Really great hotels. Stayed in the new building. Very well-decorated rooms. Spacious and modern bathroom. Booked the rate with the one-time included dinner. Good options and tasty food, for a small extra fee. Long wine list. Great views over the river.
A very lovely hotel, decorated with a lot of neatly Christmas details. Great food, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. There's a small nice area for swimming and sauna. At the arrivalday we had kind small gatherings for example with a cup of punch and cookies.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately the food was a disaster. Our mushroom dish was so salty that eating it was a struggle. The other dish was deer which was better but also had a bit too much salt. Overall, very disappointed by the food. Cannot recommend and would not go back unless it's for drinks at the river.
